![]() Change the rivet in the lever and change the link pivot pin to eliminate wear and assemble it with a fresh pin on the primary plug pivot so the plug holds it well. ![]() Mop all the crud out of the tube with a rag on dowel and make sure you won't be pushing any crud/goo into the valve with the new cup fitted. If you drive the two front spring pins then line up the piston pivot with the aft pin hole up front and push the link pin out you can pull the lever and piston out of the gun for R&R. When they don't[pump at all you don't know if they hold air till you have serviced thwe front end so you may as well do that and rebuild the valve section only if it is leaking. The intake and exhaust valve Crosman now sells are no where near as good as what is in there so there is not an upside to new parts if it still holds. That gets fried easily iif the gun sees little to zero lubes and is the most likely scenario. Often if they have not seen any abuse the first thing to try is a Pump cup and fresh lever pivots and front Pin to see if it is just a failed pump cup.
